Today we had an ultrasound done of our new baby. The baby looks nice and healthy. The size of the baby estimates the due date to be around February 15th. Jeana was a little surprised when we found out the sex of the baby. She was expecting a boy, but Mr. Radiologist said, "all I can say is it looks like a girl." Stephen is never surprised by anything, so he was not surprised to discover that is it girl. Mr. Radiologist could be wrong. We'll see come around February 15th.
The name game: Which name do you like best?
- Shannon Claire Ward
- Eva Claire Ward
- Lucy Claire Ward
- Louise Claire Ward
- Carmen Claire Ward
- Abigail Claire Ward
- Glenda Paulina Ward
- Mignon Yvonne Ward

Yippee Yippee! Welcome to the world of girls!! We're so excited for you guys! And I love the blog about Mallory - what a smart cookie. That is totally the making of a great older sister!
lucy claire of course - no doubt about it! for sure! i'd use the name lucy if i had a girl.
We vote for Abigail! It is so much fun to have two children of the same gender! A little sister is the best gift that you could ever give Mallory. We are so excited for you guys :)
Yay! Way to break the boy/girl mold.
I can't not voice my opinion on the names....
I like Abigail-three syllables like Mallory but Eva Claire!!! Timeless, classic, beauty, grace, is what that name conjures up. DARLING! I'd have to call her Eva Claire. Full. name. all. the. time.
If it can't be Gwendolyn Patricia Ward, then I vote for Carmen. Congratulations!!!!
Congrats on a baby girl...at least you won't need all new stuff. I vote for Eva Claire, absolutely beautiful!
Congratulations on the new baby!!!! I vote for Abigail.
Congrats! Having two of the same gender certainly helps with clothes and baby stuff. My votes would be for Lucy (first) and Eva (second).
I vote for Abigail because it sounds right with Mallory
Congratulations! I vote for Abigail or Carmen. Abigail would be my first choice. Abigail would have been in the running for my baby girl's name if my husband would have agreed :)
Congrats! I like Abigail as well, or Eva is fun too! They are both not that common these days and are both beautiful names. Is Claire after Alicen Claire. If so how fitting. Can't wait to see you all again.
We would have to go with Glenda. Then you can think of your older brother every single time you look at your little girl - wait. Scratch that. That's what HE would want...... We like Eva (for reals Nacho. Maybe her favorite color will be light tan, and she of course will like poppies and volleyball)
